10% of ecommerce visits are taking place on mobiles. As traffic continues to grow from mobile channels we are likely to see more and more developments in mobile optimisation (HTML5, etc).

Privacy concerns over the new Facebook developments and a new business centric CEO at Apple together with an underwhelming launch of the iPhone 4S has shown that previously untouchables may be a little shaky.

Value of Social

With businesses investing heavily in social over the past few years, value is still not clear. Pressure on proving conversion as a direct result of social will continue to grow.

Preparing for 4G

4G mobile internet is anticipated in 2012/13 bringing with it download speeds of around 100 mbps. Rich HD experiences on mobile will be possible on the go.
